COVID-19 Advisory

In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, the University has been monitoring closely and taking safety measures in line with the government’s advice and guidelines.

Personal hygiene and important points to remember

1. Clean hands with soap and water or sanitizers regularly
2. Cover nose and mouth with tissue when coughing and sneezing and dispose of the tissue in closed bins
3. Wear a mask when necessary
4. Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
5. Thoroughly cook meat and food
6. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
7.Avoid unprotected contact with live wild or farm animals
8. Avoid going to crowded places. Practise social distancing
9. Seek immediate medical attention if you have signs and symptoms of fever, coughs, cold or flu



Avoid overseas travel during COVID-19 outbreak

Travelling to COVID-19 affected countries should be avoided. 

Please take precautionary health safety measures if you really have to travel overseas. Do follow the advisory by the government on travels to affected countries.

Please refer to the University mail announcements sent to all staff and students for the details on this and also on the health safety procedures for those who have returned from travelling overseas and the persons to contact for enquiries and assistance.
