The Division of Corporate Communication and Public Relations produces and disseminates information to all University staff, students, parents, partners, the community and the public through its various publications, selected media and channels of communication.

Media

The Division fosters networking with a variety of media organisations in its relentless pursuits of greater press coverage for the university’s events. It writes and produces press articles, press invitations, press kits, among others, in support of positive publicity for the University.  

News and Events

The Division provides coverage for the University’s events and announcements including collaborative activities with academic and industry partners and produces news for the University’s website, publications (print and digital) and the media. It keeps track of news about the University that appears in newspapers (including online publications) and archives them for future reference. The Division is also the secretariat for the event management committee which coordinates to ensure smooth implementation of University events.

             









  

Publications

The Division writes, produces and publishes the University’s bi-monthly Horizon newsletter, annual university prospectus, convocation book and related materials, UTAR 10th Anniversary Commemorative Book and other written and digital communication materials related to corporate communication and public relations.  
  

Web Communication and Social Media

The Division fosters networking with a variety of media organisations in its relentless pursuits of greater press coverage for the university’s events. It writes and produces press articles, press invitations, press kits, among others, in support of positive publicity for the University. 

In addition, the Division manages and monitors the University’s social media network and the University website to ensure relevance and content updates while promoting University events, activities and announcements.
